Teenage Mutant Ninja Me

Summer officially started for us yesterday with little showers and drizzles. It also welcomed us with a lot of superhero films that were easy for the eyes – well most of them.

I have been exposed lately and upon watching I can’t help but to wish that I had super powers myself. In the case of X- Men, I had wish I was mutated a bit, but I meant it in a good way.

If I am to choose what superpowers I want I would definitely kill for teleportation. Yes, like those in the movie Jumper in the form of Hayden Christensen. Imagine how I can travel the world. Motion sickness would not be an issue and I would sure be a happy traveler and it would save me a lot of time and money. When I have teleportation, I can bring someone with me too and we would be flying like Jasmin and Aladdin. (This post is becoming too referential to pop culture).

Anyway, the truth of the matter is I only want the power so I can visit home in just a snap then I could kiss someone goodbye off to his busy work, come home after his work is done and share dinner like the old times. It seemed like forever since I had that meal when I am not too full but I am satisfied because it was with you. Then everything can get back to normal and not like this. I can’t even put into words how much I miss us.

And before it gets any mushier than that, I still want to reiterate and repeat myself over again, that I want to be an X- Men and have the teleportation powers. Maybe I should wish more whenever I see 11:11. OK I should stop day dreaming now. I am ready to face the mutated world of humans!
